Welcome to the world of my works!
What an exciting time in my life this is, I have been very fortunate to have had neally a month in Italy last year – which was food for my soul! Such beauty in everything, a door, a gate, a window planter box, the cobblestone pavement, everything! Nothing is ordinary and for me this created such a new direction for my works. I am totally inspired in every area of my life from this trip. I shared this wonderful experience with my beautiful mother and 2 brothers, who had not been to Italy before either, so we were Italian virgins! Totally absorbing the whole experience – what a visual feast!
This year I am working towards an exhibition late March at the Jugiong Wine Cellar, NSW. Jugiong is a beautiful little village and the wine cellar is a great space to show my work, will keep you posted with the dates and sneak previews!
This year is the last year with my little boys at home, so I will savour this time and no doubt that will also influence what appears in my new works!
I plan this year to enjoy each moment, trying not to stress over the small things and take the big things in my stride.
So lets see what it will bring for me!
